This policy describes how we handle information collected through this website. It does not cover the medical and therapy records we keep when your child becomes a patient. Those records are protected health information, and they are handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable law, including HIPAA. Please ask our team for a copy at any time.
When you use the call-back form, we ask for:
Please don't send health details through the website. The form is only for arranging a call. We'll talk through what you've noticed about your child by phone or in person, where that information can be protected properly.
Why we collect your mobile number. We collect mobile phone numbers so that we can send appointment-related and consultation-related text messages to people who have expressly opted in to receive them. This includes appointment reminders, confirmations and changes, consultation scheduling and follow-up, intake and paperwork reminders, and replies to questions you send us.
How you opt in. You may opt in to receive text messages from Arlington Autism Center in the following ways:
The consent language presented at each of these opt-in points reads: By checking this box, I agree to receive appointment and consultation text messages from Arlington Autism Center at the mobile number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving services. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms and Conditions.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us and your appointment schedule. Most people receive approximately 2 to 8 messages per month.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates may apply to messages you send and receive. Arlington Autism Center does not charge for text messages.
How to opt out. You may cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and will not send you further text messages unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP or contact us at (817) 538-3649 or contact@arlingtonautismcenter.com. Opting out of text messages does not remove you from phone or email contact, and it does not affect your ability to receive services from us.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How we handle your mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site running, secure and free of abuse.
We also use a few measurement tools, described under "Who we share it with" below:
These tools use cookies or similar technology in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We only share information with service providers who help us run this website, and only as much as they need to do that work:
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of a child or anyone else.
We keep call-back requests only as long as we need them to follow up with you and for reasonable record-keeping, and then delete them.
This website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to form submissions is limited to staff who need it to contact you. No website can be guaranteed to be completely secure, which is another reason we ask you not to send health details through the form.
This website is meant for parents and caregivers. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children. The only information we ask for about a child through this site is their age range, provided by a parent or caregiver.
You can ask us to tell you what information you've sent through this website, to correct it, or to delete it. Just call or email us using the details above.
To stop Google Analytics from measuring your visits, you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on. To control how Meta uses your visits for ads, use your Facebook ad preferences. If you'd rather not have a call recorded, you can email us instead.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page.
